I was going to do a day by day of my Holiday but I didn't actually come on here at all, I was enjoying my family, free time to much.
I had whanau stay, I was so happy. :)
Mum saw my uncle who she grew up with they haven't seen each other in 12 years :) My uncle Ben came home to I am names after him.

Today I had a awesome day spent with my family. My cousin stayed the night :) Hes 3 and his name

is Kroydon. He's really active and friendly.

We went to the Botanical Gardens for the day, we had Pizza for lunch it was delicious. We came home and had a movie night, that was extra cool because we got to eat loads of sweets, as my GWAH would say (Not good for your teeth) as she works in the dental industry.

Today in class we Learnt how to Harakeke (Flax weave) 

Question?

Why was Harakeke Important to Maori?

Answer.. Because Maori used it for everything day living for example 

To catch fish, To make clothes out of it and to use for different varieties of things. 

I will be trying this out. :)
